Welcome on the web site of the Paris Soil organic matter research group.
We are part of the Institute for Ecology and Environmental Sciences (iEES-Paris) in Paris and the Ecosys INRAE Laboratory (Paris-Saclay).

Our main research object is organic matter in soils under different landuse in temperate and tropical climates and under climate change We are also interested in developping innovative amendments using composting, vermicomposting and biochar and recently became interested in the contamination of (amended) soil by microplastics.

Our labs are situated at Sorbonne Université (Institute of Ecology and Environmental Sciences, iEES tour 34/44; 5 ème étage, place Jussieu, Paris) and at the Centre INRAE Paris-Saclay (Laboratory of Functional Ecology and Ecotoxicology of Agroecosystems, Ecosys, Université Paris-Saclay).
