PSG welcomes three new PhD students Lea Hanemann and Lucie Gourdon working on mangroves and Lelin You working on the vulnerability of soil carbon in european subsoils.

PSG-member Cornelia Rumpel will receive the Duchaufour medal of the EGU and the Liebig medal of the IUSS.

Next conferences

 

EGU 2026 (4.-8.5.2026 in Vienna, Austria): 2 sessions will be organized by PSG members (Marie Arnaud, Abad Chabbi and Cornelia Rumpel), a talk will be delivered by PhD student Lea Hanemann and a medal lecture given by Cornelia Rumpel.

SOM 2026 (25.-29.5.2026 in Sao Paolo, Brazil): 1 invited keynote lecture will be deliverd by PSG member Abad Chabbi and one regular lecture by Cornelia Rumpel. PhD students Yacouba Zi and Lucie Gourdon will present a poster.
